Fledge is powered by a team of educators, operational leads, and inclusion champions with decades of combined experience across virtual schools, local authorities, social care, SEND provision, hospital schools, and safeguarding.
Sarah Peters-Harrison
Sarah leads Fledge with care, clarity and lived experience. She knows what it feels like to be left out of education and she’s spent her career changing that. Through bold partnerships and human-first leadership, she ensures every young person gets the support they need to take flight.
Stephanee Day
Steph keeps every Fledge programme running smoothly. From scheduling lessons to solving issues fast, she’s the steady hand behind the scenes. With a background in SEND support, Steph brings compassion and precision to every detail, making sure students, tutors and partners always feel supported, heard and ready to move forward.
Laura Taylor
Laura oversees tutor onboarding, safeguarding and compliance at Fledge, making sure every child is supported by someone safe, skilled and compassionate. She works closely with tutors, schools and local authorities, creating a joined-up, trusted approach that ensures young people feel protected, heard and encouraged from day one.
Aisha Tahir
Aisha leads our community of tutors with care and conviction. A trained teacher with years of experience in personalised learning, she supports our team to build trust, adapt with empathy and deliver meaningful progress for every learner. Her mission is simple: every child, seen, supported and given the chance to thrive.
Bal Nijjar
Bal builds lasting partnerships rooted in care and trust. As our Relationships Manager, she works closely with schools and local authorities to co-create solutions that work. With deep education sector experience and a calm, collaborative approach, Bal makes sure every referral starts with clarity, compassion, and genuine connection.
