+ What does the sign-up process entail?
It's important that every child can feel safe online and to ensure we can provide some assurance we recruit all tutor inline with Keeping Children Safe In Education 2022.
Every tutor follows the same steps through recruitment:
- Sign-up
- Provide verification documents:
- Proof of Enhanced DBS Certification
- Photographic ID (Passport, Driving Licence, Approved ID Card)
- Proof of address
- Consent for Fledge to check your teaching status with the Teacher Regulation Agency
- Two employment reference
- Complete a short interview and trial lesson
- Sign contract and Safeguarding policy
+ How long does it take to become a Fledge tutor
New tutors can be fully signed-up with two weeks depending on the speed in which you can provide compliant documents and arrange your interview. The average sign-up period is three weeks.
+ Do you provide CPD materials?
Yes. Each active tutor receives regular feedback and bespoke guidance from our Quality Assurance team. We also provice free Safeguarding and Prevent training as well as share links to great CPD materials via our newsletters.
+ Can I work with other agencies or my private clients?
Absolutely. We encourage tutors to keep as active as possible. We can even give active Fledge tutors free access to your own online classrooms account so that you can cut the costs of delivering your private sessions (just ask us).
